Camber Giberson, RCC, CCC is an experienced online therapist for anxious adults and older teens, working from the unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations of the Coast Salish People. Registered with the BCACC of Victoria, BC, Camber completed his graduate studies in counselling psychology at Adler University in Vancouver and his clinical practicum at Health Initiative for Men (HIM), also in the lower mainland of BC. His practice integrates the body-centred and nervous-system regulating approaches found in Somatic Experiencing® (SE) and HeartMath with the cognitive behavioural therapy and interventions of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support and empower his clients’ recovery from chronic anxiety. With clinical experience with local agencies and clinics and a professional history working in yoga therapy and bodywork, Camber’s approach is deeply influenced by body-centred work, neurobiology, and trauma-informed care. He is also a fierce ally for queer, trans, and Two-Spirit individuals and creates an affirming online space for anxiety therapy.
