Engage and Connect

Join our highly interactive sessions as we crochet, doodle, draw, knit, mould clay, paint, or simply play the wooden spoons like a rockstar.

Safe and Inclusive

We aim to create a sustainable and nurturing online artmaking space where queer, trans*, nonbinary, and gender-diverse adults thrive.

Suggested Donation

Your $15 donation covers facilitation and art supplies. While appreciated, it’s definitely not required. Everyone is welcome.

What is an art hive?

An art hive is a welcoming space where anyone can come to make art and connect with others. It doesn’t matter your age, background, or experience—everyone is welcome. Art hives help build community and foster a sense of belonging by bringing people together to create and share. You don’t need to be an artist to join in; you can work on any project you like, using your own materials. Overall, an art hive is a place where you can explore your creativity, meet new people, and support one another as part of a vibrant trans* and queer community.

It’s important to note that an art hive is not therapy. While therapists host the art hive, we aren’t providing therapy during open studio. Instead, we’re providing a space to strengthen our LGBTQ+ community and encourage creative expression.

Register for the next online art hive through this link to Jane App. Once you’ve signed up, a Zoom link will arrive by email.
